By accessing or using WenDai, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
WenDai is a free, browser-based tool that turns one audio recording at a time into a transcript and structured notes. All processing happens in your browser; your content exists only in your open tab and is not stored by the service. Export anything you want to keep before closing the tab — there is no way to recover content afterwards.
WenDai requires an API key that you supply (OpenAI, or any OpenAI-compatible endpoint you configure). You are responsible for: any usage costs billed by your provider, complying with your provider's terms of service, and keeping your key secure. We never receive your key and cannot control or refund charges incurred on your account.
Your recordings, transcripts, and notes are entirely yours — we never receive them and claim no rights over them. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to process the audio you use, including any consent required by applicable recording laws in your jurisdiction.
You agree not to use the service for any unlawful purpose, to process content that infringes on the rights of others, or to attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the service or its infrastructure.
Transcripts and notes are produced by AI models and may contain errors, omissions, or fabricated details. Review the output before relying on it. WenDai makes no guarantee of accuracy.
WenDai is provided free of charge, "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including loss of content (which by design is never stored), inaccurate AI output, or charges incurred with your API provider.
We may modify or discontinue the service, or update these terms, at any time. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
